Steel m1 helmet with liner. Detailsfrom what i can tell, this is considerde a front seam fixed bale steel helmet. Appears to be form either world war 2, or the vietnam war. nI really amazing condition! Inside leather band has a few cracks, but is lal intact. The cloth chin straps and innre cloth straps are in excellent condition. Steel helmet still shows red cross marking on back, and another red rectangular marking on the front.Inner liner is painted blue on the outside. Inside of steel helmet has some rust, as shown in the photos above. There is a name written on a piece of tape on the inside of the steel helmet - it says swanson g.
